COMMUNITY

Strong Investment. Lasting Community Benefits.

The Mt. Comfort Technology Campus would bring significant new investment to Hancock County while keeping everyday impacts low.

Up to $22 Million Annually

At full buildout, the campus could provide up to $22 million each year in payments to Hancock County, plus a $22.2 million advance payment.

Jobs for Our Community

Construction could create up to 1,500 skilled jobs, followed by approximately 100 to 150 permanent, higher-wage positions.

Privately Funded Infrastructure

The project would pay for the new infrastructure it requires, including approximately $125 million in electrical improvements.

Less Traffic and Lower Water Use

Unlike a large warehouse development, the campus would generate limited daily traffic and use only about 9,200 gallons of water per day on average.

The Bottom Line

Major private investment. Strong County revenue. Skilled jobs. Limited day-to-day impact.
